Casa de Ramana is looking for a fulltime Dietary Aide to join our team. Short/ Long Term Care experience preferred . Dietary Aide Job Responsibilities of the
Dietary Aide:
Assists with food preparation under supervision and as assigned by supervisor. Participates in tray line production to ensure accurate assembly of trays so that condiments, meals, liquids, altered textures, therapeutic foods, and adaptive equipment on the trays match the specifications on the tray cards. Helps ensure timely delivery of assembled trays to dining rooms and nursing units. Utilizes dishwasher and pot washing sinks to ensure that dishes, pots, pans, cups, trays, and utensils are clean, sanitized, and dried. Demonstrates ability to use equipment in a safe manor to prevent injury of self or others in accordance to manufactures, and/or supervisors' directions. Maintains food service workspaces in clean and safe condition at all times according to center procedures. Cleans workspaces and cooking/serving equipment according to department procedures. Prepares and transports nourishments, supplements and snacks to units in a timely manner. Maintains communication with nursing department and residents to ensure optimal customer satisfaction. Qualifications of the
Dietary Aide:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prefer one-year experience as food service aide in an institutional food service setting. The ability to read, write and speak English. Other languages helpful.
