Job Description

Newfield House offers an excellent work environment, dedicated to creating a warm and supportive family atmosphere where our residents to thrive. We are seeking a part time Dietary Aide to join our kitchen. we have 3 shifts available with hours from 6:00am-2:30pm. One weekend day is required

Qualifications:

One year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility is preferred but not necessary. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team and have a proven record of dependable, regular attendance. Experience in a hospitality environment, providing exceptional hospitality to our residents and guests. Knowledge of dietary procedures and related laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to safe food handling. SERV Safe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Consistent preparation of all food items according to proper safety and cooking techniques. Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen and work station. Participate in all aspects of kitchen operation such as stocking, cleaning, dish washing, sanitizing, etc. Wait on tables and interact with residents.
