Prior experience in kitchen setting is preferred.
Core Responsibilities and Duties:
Meal Preparation & Service:
Portion and serve food, prepare snacks and beverages, and assist cooks on the tray line
Dietary Compliance:
Follow specific diet tickets and honor resident likes/dislikes while ensuring compliance with prescribed medical nutrition plans
Delivery & Tray Retrieval:
Deliver food trays to resident rooms or main dining areas at scheduled times and retrieve them after meals
Sanitation & Cleaning:
Wash dishes, pots, and utensils; sanitize tables and counters; sweep/mop floors; and properly dispose of food waste and trash
Inventory & Stocking:
Assist in tracking inventory, stocking food supplies, and ensuring all perishables are rotated or discarded properly
