Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Dietary Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support meal preparation and dining services while helping ensure our residents receive enjoyable, timely, and well-presented meals. No prior experience is required—we are willing to train motivated candidates who are committed to providing excellent service and working as part of a team. Responsibilities Complete preparatory work for meals, including setting up dining rooms. Prepare food trays with condiments, napkins, juices, milk, and other necessary items. Serve meals to residents and pour beverages as needed. Clear trays and dishes and reset dining rooms after meals. Assist with cleaning kitchen and storage areas. Dispose of trash appropriately. Follow food service, safety, sanitation, and facility procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dining and kitchen environment. Qualifications No previous experience required; training will be provided. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Ability to perform physical job requirements, including sitting, standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Ability to follow departmental safety policies and procedures. Computer skills are a plus. Flexible availability. Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to providing excellent service to residents.
