Job Description

Dietary Aide - Senior Living Community Help us serve more than meals—help us serve comfort, connection, and a little happiness each day. We are looking for a friendly, dependable Dietary Aide to join our senior living community! You don't need years of experience to be successful in this role. If you enjoy helping others, work well as part of a team, and take pride in keeping things clean and organized, we would love to meet you. As a Dietary Aide, you'll help prepare dining areas, serve meals, assist residents, and support the kitchen team. Your kindness and attention to detail will help make every meal feel a little more like home. What You'll Do Set up dining rooms and meal trays before each meal Serve meals and beverages to residents with a friendly, helpful attitude Follow resident-specific diets, food textures, allergies, and portion requirements Collect dishes and clean tables following meal service Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment Keep dining and kitchen areas clean, organized, and sanitary Stock food, beverages, and supplies Follow food-safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures Communicate resident requests or concerns to the appropriate team member Work alongside cooks and other dietary team members to keep meal service running smoothly What We're Looking For A positive attitude and genuine respect for older adults Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Good communication and customer-service skills Ability to stay organized in a busy environment Previous food-service or senior-living experience is helpful, but not required—we are happy to train the right person!
