Assisted living facility in St. Clair Shores has an immediate opening for dietary aide: Essential Functions and Responsibilities Setting up tables for residents (water, coffee, juice, silverware) Serving dinner plates to Residents Sweeping and mopping dietary areas Dishwashing Wiping down tables and chairs Work together as a team with the Dining Services Director and Cooks Other job duties as needed Great Candidate Qualifications Part-time position available (leading to full-time) Every other weekend required Holidays required as needed Flexibility to work different shifts preferred Shift times are between 3p-7p, 10:30a-7p Experience in dining services or similar environment preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, compassionate service Able to communicate and problem solve with team members as a mature, responsible individual The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum or 40lbs and the ability to move about the facility quickly and to be able to physically assist residents/or staff in the event of an emergency Must be able to pass a background check and fingerprinting Must posses a valid drivers license or state ID High school diploma or GED preferred Reliability and punctuality required
