Requirements:

In this energetic and rewarding position, you will assist with meal service, ensure food safety standards are met, and contribute to creating a warm, welcoming environment for residents and staff alike. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a positive dining experience for everyone we serve. Duties Prepare and assemble meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Serve meals in a timely manner while maintaining proper portion control and food safety standards. Assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining kitchen and dining areas to uphold health regulations. Support dietary staff with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food storage conditions. Interact courteously with residents during meal service, providing friendly assistance and addressing special dietary needs as directed. Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and infection control to ensure a safe environment. Document meal service activities accurately and report any concerns or irregularities to supervisory staff promptly. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred; previous experience in food service or healthcare settings is a plus. Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to food safety regulations consistently. Strong communication skills with a friendly, respectful attitude toward residents and team members. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform cleaning tasks as needed. Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if required. Basic knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards related to food handling is advantageous.
