Job Description

TITLE:
Dietary Aide
REPORTS TO
: Director of Dietary Services Wage range $15-$20.22
Job Summary:
Responsible for providing food service to residents under sanitary conditions and provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed.
Qualifications:
Must be able to relate positively to residents and families, and to work cooperatively with other employees. Must be able to communicate effectively with Residents, families, staff, community officials, referral sources and the general public. Must be capable of maintaining regular and reliable attendance. Must meet all state health requirements.
General Responsibilities:
Complete tasks based on job schedule Assist with meal service for residents Set and bus tables in the dining room Assist the dietary cook in the preparation of meals and cleaning Cleans dishes and maintains a clean kitchen workspace Communicate with other departments in implementing the nutritional care of residents Follow food preparation, sanitation and safety guidelines in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures Complete all documentation for temperature and meal records Other duties as assigned.
