Job Overview Fairview is looking for a Nutrition Services Aide to join our team at our St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN. The Nutrition Services Aide's role is to prepare food according to guidelines, stock supplies, provide service to all customers and/or perform tasks that relate to food preparation, sanitation, and service. Position Details 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) day shift every other weekend Schedule Week 1: Monday 6:00am-2:30pm Wednesday 6:00am-2:30pm Thursday 6:00am-2:30pm Friday 6:00am-2:30pm Week 2: Monday 6:00am-2:30pm Tuesday 6:00am-2:30pm Wednesday 6:00am-2:30pm Thursday 6:00am-2:30pm Saturday 6:00am-2:30pm Sunday 6:00am-2:30pm Responsibilities Prepares food in an efficient, safe, and timely manner according to department service times and schedules, using standardized recipes and following proper techniques. Covers, labels, dates, and rotates all food prior to storing to ensure department and regulatory agency standards are met. Washes dishes and/or pots and pans according to established procedures and time frames. Practices proper infection control methods including handwashing, personal hygiene, and infection control policies. Performs a specific task on trayline during the assembly of patient trays. Delivers trays to patients, collects trays after meal service. Delivers floor stock and/or nourishments to patients and nursing unit. Performs a variety of cafeteria and/or coffee shop duties which may include plating, using portion control and cashiering operation. Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards. Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.

$21.96- $25.74 Hourly
