Job Summary Join our dedicated dietary team as a Dietary Aide, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will play a vital role in providing nourishing, delicious meals to our residents. In this energetic position, you will support food preparation, service, sanitation, and overall dietary operations within a vibrant healthcare environment. Your efforts will ensure that every meal is served with care, safety, and professionalism, contributing to the well-being and satisfaction of those we serve. Responsibilities Assist with food production and meal preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards Serve meals to residents or patients with friendly customer service, ensuring proper portioning and presentation Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas through proper sanitation, cleaning, and bussing procedures Handle food safely by following proper food handling protocols and sanitation practices Support the dietary department by assisting with food storage, inventory management, and organization of supplies Help with general kitchen duties such as cooking, plating, and setting up serving stations Ensure compliance with health regulations related to food safety and sanitation at all times Requirements Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation standards is highly desirable Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy meal times Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude Excellent customer service skills to interact kindly with residents or patients during meal service Familiarity with food handling safety procedures and cleanliness standards in a kitchen environment Prior dietary aide or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Join us in creating a warm and welcoming dining experience that promotes health and happiness!
