Dietary Aide - Buffalo Prairie Care Center 631 W Main Street, Buffalo, MO 65622 | 417-932-8040Position Summary:
Buffalo Prairie Care Center is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in a long-term care skilled nursing environment. The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in ensuring our residents receive nutritious, appealing meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining experience.Pay & Schedule:

$15.00/hourPosition Type:
Full-Time Some weekends and holidays requiredKey Responsibilities:
Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and beverage service according to resident diet orders Deliver meals to resident rooms and dining areas in a timely manner Ensure residents receive correct diets and portions Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following proper sanitation guidelines Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, workstations, and food storage areas Follow all state, federal, and facility food safety and infection control regulations Assist with stocking and rotating food and supplies Observe and report changes in residents' appetite or concerns to nursing staff Provide friendly, respectful service to residents, families, and staffQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous food service experience is a plus (healthcare setting preferred) Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to follow directions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentPhysical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25-50 pounds Ability to push carts and remain on feet for extended periodsBenefits:
