Full Job Description Job Responsibilities :

Assure that all meals are prepared and served three times daily, as appropriate, for CARES Center residents and School Day students. Prepare meals for transportation as needed. Be familiar with Child Nutrition, DOH, and Medicaid standards and follow Offer vs. Serve guidelines and practices. Assure that all meals are prepared under safe and sanitary conditions without contamination. Maintains portion and cost control, using standardized recipes and measuring. Provide for special dietary needs as directed by Dietary Manager and/or Registered Dietician. Provides diets and snacks as directed by physician orders. Maintains a clean and safe environment at all times in Kitchen and Dining Area. Wash, sanitize and stores clean dishes after each meal. Monitor and document temperature of all fridge and freezers on a daily basis. Participates in the safety and infection control activities as directed. Participate in monthly supervision with Dietary Manager. Participate in monthly dietary team meetings. Performs other duties as assigned.
