Dietary Aide Location:

Morganton, NC Overview We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dietary Aide to join our team in Morganton, NC. This role is responsible for assisting with meal preparation, serving residents, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a heart for serving others. Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation and food production in a nursing home or healthcare kitchen Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and meal schedules accurately Serve meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed Respond professionally and respectfully to resident dietary needs and concerns Support kitchen staff with daily tasks to ensure smooth meal service Qualifications Previous experience in food service, dietary, or kitchen work is preferred Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and teamwork skills Dependable, compassionate, and service-oriented Additional Information This job description is not intended to be a complete list of all duties, responsibilities, or activities required of the position.
