Looking for a flexible part-time role? Join our team as a Dietary Aide! Work just four shifts per month with a consistent every-other-weekend schedule—choose from either day or evening shifts. Job Summary:
This role is essential in ensuring that residents receive nutritious, well-balanced meals in a friendly and supportive environment. The Dietary Aide assists in food preparation, service, and cleanup while following dietary guidelines and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in meal preparation and food service according to resident dietary needs and preferences. Deliver meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner. Set up dining areas, serve meals, and ensure a clean and welcoming environment. Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety guidelines. Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and maintain overall cleanliness of the dietary department. Ensure compliance with health regulations and facility policies. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Culinary Services.
Qualifications:
Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team-oriented environment. Strong customer service skills and a compassionate attitude toward residents. Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations (training provided). Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
