Job Description

Dietary Supervisor Job Summary:
Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Full-Time Dietary Evenings Supervisor! Responsibilities:
Supervise dietary staff, including cooks, servers, and assistants, to ensure effective and efficient service delivery Plan, coordinate, and implement menus, nutrition programs, and dietary services that meet residents' needs and preferences Inspect food preparation areas, equipment, and supplies to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure food quality and presentation meet established standards Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and activities, to ensure seamless coordination of services and care Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory management and nutritional assessments
Requirements:
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse staff and residents Knowledge of food service operations, including menu planning, nutrition programming, and food safety regulations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing situations High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in food service management, dietetics, or a related field preferred How to
