GED Full Job Description Job Responsibilities:
1. Assists the cook/chef in determining the amount and type of food and supplies required for daily meals and assists in the preparation. 2. Performs tray line duties; checks meal tickets and prepares residents meal trays to assure dietary orders are followed. 3. Checks food inventory/stock to assure no expired food is used and helps in maintaining par levels of food goods. 4. Cleans dishes,pots and pans utilizing dishwasher and sinks. 5. Cleans food service areas. 6. Practices the highest level of customer service in dealing with all internal and external customers and peers. 7. Delivers meals to resident floors, dining rooms and resident bed rooms 8. Performs server duties during events 9. Assists in emergency procedures ie, code E, fire, disaster, and general health care emergencies. as directed. 10. Follows code of conduct and ensures resident privacy and is compliant with
HIPAA. 11.
Will perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities 1.
Education:
High school education, equivalent 2.
Physical/Mental Demands:
Walk long distances, and remain on her / his feet for long durations of time. Bend, squat, push, pull, reach, stretch and lift up to 50lbs. Speak, read and understand English. Able to tolerate cleaning chemicals with use of appropriate equipment.
