Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is actively seeking a Dietary Technician in Syracuse NY. We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Diet Technician (DTR) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support resident nutrition care by conducting nutritional screenings and assessments, monitoring weight and dietary needs, updating care plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality nutritional services.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required Registered Diet Technician (DTR) credential required or Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics with national registration Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or a related healthcare setting preferred Knowledge of nutrition assessment, care planning, and healthcare regulations

Key Responsibilities:

Complete nutritional assessments and screenings Monitor resident nutrition status and weight trends Develop and update nutrition care plans Communicate dietary needs with residents, families, and care teams Support quality assurance initiatives and regulatory compliance Assist with menu planning and therapeutic diet reviews Join our team and help improve the health and well-being of our residents through quality nutritional care.
