CareCore at Westmoreland is seeking an experienced Dietary Manager to lead our dietary department and ensure our residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience managing food service operations, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance within a healthcare or long-term care setting. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the dietary department Supervise, schedule, train, and support dietary staff Manage food and supply ordering, inventory, and department costs Work closely with the Dietitian and nursing team to meet resident dietary needs Ensure meals are prepared and served according to prescribed diets and resident preferences Maintain kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations Maintain survey readiness and required dietary documentation Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and developing dietary team members Promote a positive dining experience for residents Requirements ServSafe certification required Previous dietary or food service management experience required Long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare experience strongly preferred Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification is a plus Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, therapeutic diets, and regulatory requirements Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on with daily department operations Benefits Full Time, Salaried Position Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Paid holidays 401(k) Supportive leadership team Opportunities for professional growth Join CareCore at Westmoreland and help us provide an exceptional dining experience for our residents while leading a strong and dedicated dietary team.
