Summary We are seeking a Part-Time Culinary Aide to join our team at Candlewood Healthcare & Rehabilitation. In this role, you will assist in meal preparation and food service within our assisted living communities, ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals tailored to their needs. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or continue their career in a dedicated and compassionate environment. Our team is dedicated to providing the best quality care for the residents at our community. This position has a starting pay rate of $14.25 an hour The typical schedule for this opportunity is Three (3) 8-hour shifts a week. The standard schedule for this position includes an every other weekend rotation. The typical schedule for this opportunity is available on our First Shift working from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm and Second Shift 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In addition to our current Weekend Warrior opportunity, we also have flexible employment options available including Full Time and Part Time. Interested in learning more apply today! vaccines Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Support cooks and dietary aides in food preparation tasks as needed. Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times. Help with bussing tables and cleaning up after meals to maintain a pleasant dining experience. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations. Requirements Previous experience in the culinary field or food service preferred. Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
