A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Independent Living facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've provided spiritually motived care for the elderly of Columbus for over 65 years. Caring for someone isn't just a job, it's a compassionate calling based on deep-rooted spiritual beliefs. We are looking to hire a Part-Time Dietary Aide . 11am to 7pm weekdays plus Every Other Weekend. $14.50 per hour.
Dietary Aide Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Must have a caring and compassionate nature. Food service experience preferred. Must be able to understand, read & write English. Must work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Dietary Aide Job Summary:
Ensure that established Infection Control practices are maintained. Ensure equipment is maintained and work area clean. Prepare food in a nutritional, appetizing fashion and present in a caring manner.
Operate equipment:
toaster, steam line, plate warmer, dishwasher, coffee maker. Check dining area to ensure set up. Record refrigerator/freezer & dishwasher temperatures. Label & date foods for proper storing. Distribute appropriate snacks to floor. Sweep & mop floors. Clean machinery & stainless-steel counters. This is a brief overview of job responsibilities and not intended to be all inclusive.
