Job Description

Dietary Aide General Purpose The dietary aide assignments are determined by the needs basis on the activity of the shift. He/she reports to the Cook and Dietary supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with meal and snack preparation as directed Assemble trays, portion items, and help with meal service Deliver meals to halls Wash dishes, clean equipment, and maintain sanitation standards Stock and rotate supplies using safe storage practices Follow food safety guidelines, allergy precautions, and infection control procedures Communicate needs, concerns, or changes to the
Dietary Manager Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Reliable, team-oriented, and respectful in a resident-centered environment Food service experience helpful, training may be provided Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Language Skills Ability to read technical procedures. Ability to read and follow recipes. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees. Mathematical Skills Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate.
