Edgewood Manor is a respected long-term care facility dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Dietary Aides to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a key role in delivering nutritious and appetizing meals to our residents, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met. Ensure the kitchen, dining areas, and equipment are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition. Work closely with dietary team members and nursing staff to meet individual dietary requirements and special requests. Provide excellent customer service by responding to resident and family concerns about meal service. Follow all food safety protocols and assist in food storage, inventory, and ordering as needed. Assist with meal setup, serving, and cleanup, ensuring timely service of meals. Ensure that dietary restrictions, food allergies, and special diets are adhered to at all times.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in food service or healthcare is preferred, but not required. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
