PACE Position Summary:
The Dietary Aide assists with the preparation, service, and cleanup of meals and snacks while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment. This position supports participant-centered dining services and may serve as a lead staff member during assigned shifts by coordinating daily kitchen workflow and ensuring food quality, safety, and service standards are met. Cooking experience is preferred.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous commercial cooking, institutional food service, healthcare dietary, or restaurant cooking experience preferred. Previous experience in a kitchen lead, shift lead, supervisory, or kitchen management role preferred . Food Handler Permit (or ability to obtain within required timeframe). Knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention practices preferred. Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and work independently while supporting a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
