Northwest Nursing Center - Oklahoma City, OK 73112The Dietary Aide assists in preparing, serving, and delivering meals to residents, ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines, safety standards, and resident preferences. This role supports the dietary team in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized food service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in meal preparation and serving according to approved menus and dietary specifications. Deliver meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner. Ensure proper portion sizes and accommodate special diets, allergies, or texture modifications. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, kitchen, and equipment. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to safety and sanitation standards. Assist with inventory management, stocking supplies, and reporting shortages. Follow all safety, infection control, and facility protocols. Provide friendly, respectful interaction with residents during meals and snack service. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Previous experience in dietary services, food service, or healthcare preferred. Knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, and infection control practices. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25-50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
