Job Description

Iris Memory Care of Nichols Hills is hiring a dietary aide. We are a small freestanding memory care assisted living community located near May and Britton in NW OKC.
The schedule is as follows:
Monday-Wednesday, 11am to 7pm
Specific Responsibilities:
Will work in partnership with the Dietary Manager and Cook staff to ensure the dining room and kitchen runs cleanly and efficiently.
Primary Essential Job Duties:
Bussing tables Washing dishes Cleaning kitchen and dining areas Serving food Preparation, presentation, and efficient meal service delivery. Maintains procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards in order to ensure compliance with governmental regulations. Prepares food items and serves food to Residents within scheduled time frame. Follows menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made. Cleans and maintains food service areas, including kitchen and dining room. Ensures compliance with state and local health department sanitation code.
Job Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older Previous experience in a commercial kitchen preferred but not required Housekeeping or dishwashing experience preferred Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be physically able to sweep, mop, bus tables, and complete general cleaning tasks Working knowledge of rules and regulations related to health and safety in food preparation. Demonstrated ability in food preparation and services. Maintains acceptable attendance records/follows work schedule. Requires minimal supervision. Displays cleanliness, good grooming, and personal appearance and follows dress requirements.
