Job Description

Cook We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team and make a difference by preparing delicious meals for our residents and facility staff. Additionally, you will provide guidance to dietary aides and dishwashers to ensure food safety and sanitation regulations are properly followed.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of meals as directed Adhere to Federal and State long-term care regulations for food safety and sanitation, and follow all Dietary Department policies and procedures. Keep the kitchen and work areas clean by washing and cleaning equipment and utensils, and performing other scheduled cleaning tasks. Safely operate and assess the condition of food service equipment. Perform other duties or assignments as directed by the Dietary Manager.
Qualifications:
Experience as a short-order cook is helpful Customer service-oriented attitude Must be able to pass a criminal background check Dietary Aide We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team who will be responsible for the set-up and assistance with serving meals to residents and facility staff. This role includes maintaining cleanliness in work areas, washing and sanitizing food preparation equipment and utensils, floors, and all dishes, flatware, and trays. The ideal candidate will have a customer service-oriented attitude and a basic understanding of infection control protocols.
Primary Responsibilities:
Set up dining areas and assist with serving meals to residents and facility staff. Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized. Wash and sanitize food preparation equipment, utensils, floors, and all dishes, flatware, and trays. Follow established routines and instructions for meal preparation and service. Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.
Minimum Requirements:
Previous experience in a dietary or food service role is a plus but not required. Ability to follow instructions and established routines. Basic understanding of infection control protocols. Customer service-oriented attitude. Ability to work well as part of a team. Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
