Our supreme example of a Shepherd is "The Good Shepherd", Jesus Christ. Our dietary aides perform many different tasks, some of them include: Prepare food trays for general and therapeutic diets. Prepare and deliver items as requested. Maintain tray line in a clean, neat, and organized manner. Deliver food carts to patient care units. Return carts to kitchen at designated times. Load and oversee dishwashers and log and record wash/rinse temperatures. Wash specified items by hand. Example - Pots, pans, knives. Assist in kitchen cleaning as per facility policies. Assist in preparing salads, desserts, and other nourishments. Performs special cleaning duties using proper infection control techniques as assigned by the Dietary Manager Treat co-workers, residents and guests with respect and dignity. Perform all aspects of resident care in an environment that optimizes resident safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
