Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Dietary Manager to oversee our dietary department and ensure the provision of high-quality nutritional services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dietetics, leadership, and health coaching. Responsibilities
- Manage the dietary department and staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
- Develop and implement dietary plans based on diagnostic evaluations and individual needs
- Supervise meal planning, preparation, and delivery processes
- Monitor special dietary requirements such as tube feeding or specialized diets
- Utilize physiology knowledge to address nutritional needs effectively
- Conduct budgeting for dietary supplies and resources
- Provide health coaching to patients on proper nutrition and lifestyle choices Experience
- Previous experience in managing a dietary department is preferred
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation and physiology knowledge
- Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate staff effectively
- Knowledge of alimentary requirements for different health conditions
- Experience in budgeting for dietary operations
- Familiarity with tube feeding procedures and specialized diets
