Dietary Aide Join our team at Bradford Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bradford, Pennsylvania, United States We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at Bradford Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment. About the
Role:
Assist the dietary staff with food preparation, food handling, and serving meals to residents Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving areas Assist with laundry, dishwashing, and other housekeeping tasks as needed Monitor and maintain food inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies Participate in resident satisfaction surveys and provide feedback to improve dining experiences Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and delivery of care
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner Ensure accurate food identification and labeling for residents with specific dietary needs Maintain accurate records of food inventory and supply orders Assist with maintaining a safe and clean environment in the dining area and surrounding spaces Participate in menu planning and testing to ensure quality and variety of meals Perform other tasks as assigned by the
Dietary Manager or Director of Food and Nutrition Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a dietary or food service setting preferred Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive situations
