Job Description

Dietary Aide Valley Manor Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our dietary services team. For more than 50 years, Valley Manor has served the local community by providing high-quality skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care services. Our Dietary Department plays an important role in supporting the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Responsibilities Assist with preparing and serving meals, beverages, and snacks Set up and deliver resident meal trays accurately and on time Follow resident diet orders, portion guidelines, and food-allergy precautions Collect meal trays and clean dining and kitchen areas Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and food-service equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment Stock food, supplies, and disposable items as needed Follow food-safety, sanitation, infection-control, and facility procedures Communicate resident meal concerns or preferences to the appropriate team member Provide friendly and respectful service to residents, visitors, and staff Complete other dietary duties as assigned Qualifications Previous food-service, healthcare, or long-term care experience preferred Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry food-service supplies Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and resident satisfaction Schedule Full-time or part-time Weekday and weekend availability may be required Flexible scheduling based on facility needs Join a supportive team and help provide nutritious meals and excellent service to our residents.
