Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Technician, Full time 11:30am - 8pm to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the dietary department in providing high-quality food service to residents in a hospital, nursing home, or assisted living facility. Your expertise in food safety and sanitation will be essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for meal preparation and service. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for promoting health through nutrition. Must be able to work weekends! Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and individual resident needs. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to uphold cleanliness standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' inquiries or concerns regarding their meals. Experience Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a food service role is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential. Experience working in a hospital, nursing home, or assisted living setting is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining attention to detail.
