Embassy of East Mountain is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead our dietary department and ensure our residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This is a key leadership role responsible for both clinical nutrition oversight and day-to-day kitchen operations. Position Summary The Dietary Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all food service activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. This individual will ensure that dietary services meet the nutritional needs of residents while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the dietary department, including food preparation, service, and sanitation Ensure compliance with PA Department of Health regulations and CMS guidelines Plan, develop, and implement menus that meet nutritional requirements and resident preferences Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care plans Manage food and supply inventory, ordering, and cost control Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff Ensure proper food handling, storage, and infection control practices Maintain accurate documentation and dietary records Address resident and family concerns related to dietary services Qualifications Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting strongly preferred Knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutrition regulations Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Benefits Competitive salary Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Career growth opportunities within a growing organization Why Join Embassy of East Mountain?
