We are currently seeking Full Time Dietary Aides to assure food service is delivered to the residents and work areas are maintained appropiately.
Responsibilities:
Prepares the dine rooms for meal service (cleans and sanitizes table tops) Updates the menu boards weekly. Assures accurate, safe and timely delivery of resident meals and nourishments. Prepares beverages, complying with standard portioning, pours, stores and covers beverages for meals: places items on resident meal trays. Assures safe and timely retrieval of reisdent tray carts. Inventories unit nourishment areas daily, stocks with a variety of dated snacks and beverages, as indicated. Removes inappropriately stored or outdated items, and is responsible for interior cleanliness of refrigerator/freezer, microwave and storage cabinets. Retrieves food and paper items from storage areas, as needed and gathers requested items for daily hydration cart, and activity programs. Cuts, highlights and organizes tray cards per department policy. Stores food safely to assure no contamination or unnecessary waste. Prepares items in proper quantities to assure minimal leftovers and utilizes leftovers in an appropriate and timely manner. Takes and records temperatures of refrigerators/freezers as directed, and reports any deficient temperatures to the Food Service Manager or designee.
