We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team a. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents. If you are passionate about food service and customer satisfaction, we encourage you to apply for this part-time and full-time opportunity.Responsibilities:
- Follow therapeutic diet cards as ordered by the physician
- Ensure proper serving temperature of food and beverages
- Deliver meals on a timely basis
- Maintain visual appeal of food and emphasize the use of garnishes
- Adhere to daily nourishment lists and stock nourishment stations
- Assist the cook in monitoring meal serving times
- Adhere to sanitation and storage policies and procedures
- Perform other duties assigned by the dining director
Specific Requirements:
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must be able to follow oral and written communication
- Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and maintain the appearance of dining service areas
- Must perform regular inspections of dietary services areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties
- Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
- Must be willing to handle residents based on their current maturity level
- Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and incorporate them into existing dietary practices
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
