Job Description

Dietary Manager We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Manager to join our skilled nursing facility. This role is essential in ensuring our residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals while maintaining compliance with all dietary regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the dietary department Plan, develop, and manage menus that meet residents' nutritional needs and physician orders Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff Monitor food preparation, portion control, and meal service Maintain proper sanitation, safety, and infection control standards Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care
Qualifications:
Previous experience in dietary services, preferably in long-term care or healthcare Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Strong knowledge of nutrition, food safety, and regulatory standards Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment ServSafe certification preferred
