Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment.Duties:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents/patients
- Ensure all food is served at the correct temperature and in appropriate portions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
- Follow dietary restrictions and special instructions when preparing meals
- Assist with food production tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to residents/patients and their families
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting, nursing home, or hospital kitchen preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Ability to follow dietary restrictions and special instructions accurately
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely meal service
- Basic cooking skills are a plus
