AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified Dietary Cook to join our family! We are searching for a Dietary Cook that is resident, and family-focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. The purpose of this role is to prepare and cook high-quality foods for all regular and modified diets, serving residents, guests, and employees. Ensure all preparation and cooking strictly adheres to State Department of Health Rules and Regulations and established facility standards. Dietary Cook:
Utilize a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques. Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets regarding individual resident nutritional needs. Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings if necessary. Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes. Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining high quality and appeal. Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals. Qualifications for
Dietary Cook:
High school diploma or GED. Previous office experience preferred. Previous Nursing Home experience preferred. Culinary and/or food service experience in a health care facility preferred. About the
