We proudly serve seniors in our community by providing balanced meals that meet dietary needs while fostering respect, independence, and well-being. We are currently seeking a Dietary Aide who is dependable, caring, and passionate about supporting seniors through quality nutrition and service. Position Summary The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in supporting our Nutrition Services team by assisting with meal preparation, food service, sanitation, and meal delivery. This position helps ensure meals are served safely, accurately, and with courtesy to seniors in accordance with dietary guidelines and food safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation, portioning, plating, and serving of meals Ensure meals meet prescribed dietary requirements and portion standards Set up and break down dining areas and service stations Deliver meals to seniors in dining areas or designated service locations Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures at all times Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies Provide courteous, respectful, and friendly service to seniors and staff Report concerns related to food quality, safety, or participant needs to supervisors Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous food service or dietary experience preferred (healthcare or senior services a plus) Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [XX] pounds Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Genuine interest in working with seniors What We Offer Meaningful work serving the senior community Supportive and team-oriented work environment Training provided (including food safety procedures) Competitive hourly pay Opportunities for growth within Nutrition & Senior Services Benefits package may include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and holidays (for eligible positions) Equal Opportunity Employer Nutrition & Services for Seniors is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
