We are currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team full-time. Position Summary As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing our residents' quality of life by ensuring they receive nutritious, appetizing meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment. This position is essential to maintaining the comfort, health, and well-being of those we serve. Key Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, meal service, and beverage distribution. Serve meals and snacks to residents in a courteous and timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, food carts, tables, and equipment in accordance with federal, state, and facility guidelines. Support food service operations that accommodate the individual preferences and dietary needs of residents. Assist with monitoring and managing food inventory and storage. Interact professionally with residents to gather feedback regarding meals and dining services. Communicate resident concerns or preferences to the Cook and Dietary Manager. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures. Maintain an organized work environment and provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff. Qualifications Valid Food Handler's Certificate required. Previous dietary, food service, healthcare, or long-term care experience preferred. Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout the shift. Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work in a kitchen environment for extended periods.
