Overview Highland Village Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team in providing exceptional nutritional support within assisted living settings. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, service, and sanitation to ensure residents receive nutritious and appealing meals in a safe and hygienic environment. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of residents while gaining valuable experience in food service and dietary departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists in preparing meals, desserts, and beverages following specific procedures. Assists the cook with determining kitchen supplies and stock for the day, as well as checking and maintaining stock levels. Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and utensils in dish machine. Return clean items to proper storage areas. Clean kitchen and dish areas in accordance to cleaning schedule. Perform other duties as assigned by the Dining Director or Cook.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in Senior Assisted Living preferred Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required. Great organizational skills a must Strong communication skills Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required. Must be able to work weekends.
