Qualifications :

Ability to follow oral and written instructions Willingness to take responsibilities Must be able to lift 50lbs or more and be able to walk alone, turn, pivot, and bend as needed to perform all of the duties ;listed under "responsibilities" of this job description. Demonstrate a working knowledge of Universal Precautions and the rules governing hazardous waste and products and Blood Borne Pathogens Must wear flat shoes which can either be strapped or tied. No heels, sandals or any open toed shoes allowed.

Job Summary :

The purpose of this job is to provide adequate assistance to the cook in preparation of all meal services

Responsibilities :

Assisting cook in setting up and covering desserts Pouring and Covering beverages Setting up trays which includes lifting and transferring food and dishes which weigh in excess of 50lbs. Setting tables Helping to serve trays in dining room Bussing of tables and trays Clean up work areas

Special Demands :

Willing to work for the best interest of the institution Ability to work cooperatively with others Ability to move from one assignment to another and do all of them quickly and properly Set up tray in manner which supervisor has established Job knowledge : Time allowed for each of several jobs Interpret tray cards so that proper beverages and desserts are pt on each tray

Benefits:

After 90 days of employment, you will be approve for holiday pay and be eligible to enrollment for health, dental, and vision insurance. After 1 year of employment you will receive vacation pay.
