JOB SUMMARY
Preparing and delivering food for residents according to their diets, while maintaining kitchen and dining areas clean.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Properly wash, sanitize, and store all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Assist in tray assembly and deliver carts to the appropriate nursing or dining areas. Dispose of refuse according to departmental policy and procedures. Assemble and deliver floor supplies according to the posted standards. Put food and supplies away following the correct rotation (first in, first out). Ability to prepare all foods according to the menu and the standardized recipes in a safe, efficient, and sanitary manner. Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of food as indicated on the spreadsheet and the recipes. Perform other duties as assigned.

Indoors Self-paced, requiring the ability to work quickly in an oftentimes fast-paced, demanding work area.
