Culinary Aide - Be Part of a Team That Feeds the Heart Full-Time Position If you enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen and love knowing your work brings comfort and joy to others, this role is for you. We're seeking a Culinary Aide to help prepare, portion, and serve meals that meet high standards for taste, safety, and presentation.
What You'll Be Doing:
Preparing food items for regular and therapeutic diets Ensuring meals are served attractively and on time Using proper portion control and food storage methods Maintaining food temperatures and completing required logs Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean and safe Following infection control and safety procedures Assisting with inventory and supply storage Supporting residents with kindness and professionalism Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements:
Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Licenses/Certification Food Handlers Permit, if required per state regulations. Experience Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred. Experience in food service is desired.
NOTE:
Federal Child Labor Laws do not permit employees younger than 18 years of age to work with or repair, adjust, or clean power-driven machines such as meat slicers and commercial mixers. Therefore, individuals must be at least 18 years of age to be employed in this position.
