Job Description

The McGregor Company serves growers in Washington, Idaho and Oregon with seed, crop inputs, equipment, services, research, and advice needed to raise healthy, sustainable crops. The McGregor Company Trucking Division distributes products to our retail branches and direct to local growers, utilizing 20-30 trucks and drivers.
Duties:
  • Supplying The McGregor Company ag retail facilities and local growers with fertilizer products from area ports/terminals, including liquid and dry fertilizers
  • Haul for outside entities during the off season, including but not limited to grain and seed products
  • General maintenance of equipment
  • Adherence to paperwork and DOT training regulations
  • Good customer service skills, drivers interact with grower customers
Requirements:
  • CDL Class A with tank, doubles and hazmat endorsements or ability to obtain Hazmat and tanker endorsements
  • 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles required
  • Must be able to drive a manual transmission
  • Attention to detail
  • Safety minded professionalism
  • Ability to obtain TWIC card after hire if not already held
  • General knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
Position Details:
  • Full-time with additional hours during peak busy seasons
  • Home most nights
  • Based in Colfax, Clarkston, or Pasco dispatched from our headquarters in Colfax WA
  • Benefit package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation, life insurance, + more)
Drug Free Workplace Wage:
  • $20.
00 to 30.00, depending on experience and licensing status
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
