Job Description

Dietary Aide | Othello Post Acute | $17.50-$18.00/hour Othello Post Acute is looking for a dependable, people-first Dietary Aide to join our kitchen team. You'll help prepare and serve meals that our residents look forward to every day and play a real role in their comfort and well-being. No prior experience? No problem - we'll train the right person who shows up with a good attitude and a strong work ethic. What You'll Do Set up meal trays correctly, including special utensils or feeding devices noted on tray cards Prepare hot and cold foods and beverages following recipes, menus, and dietary orders (regular, modified, and therapeutic diets) Double-check tray cards for allergies, preferences, and special instructions before every meal goes out Portion food accurately and add correct condiments and special requests Assist with dining room service as needed Clean kitchen equipment, dishes, and prep areas, and follow posted cleaning schedules Follow infection control and safety procedures Treat residents, families, and coworkers with courtesy and respect Why Work Here Competitive pay: $17.50-$18.00/hour Consistent schedule with a supportive Dietary team On-the-job training provided Meaningful work — you directly impact residents' daily quality of life Opportunity to grow within the facility
