Job Description

Our Dietary Aide supports the culinary team by assisting with meal preparation and service while providing an excellent dining experience for all residents. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare meals, snacks, beverages, and cold food items according to recipes and dietary guidelines. Serve meals while following all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards. Assist with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, desserts, snacks, and special menu items. Receive, store, and organize food and supplies to maintain quality and minimize waste. Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. Keep the dish room and dish machine clean, sanitized, and stocked to support meal service. Assist cooks with meal preparation and service, including therapeutic and modified diets. Set up meal trays and organize diet cards or selective menus for accurate meal delivery.
