ERCC delivers a full range of skilled and intermediate nursing care services to individuals recovering from injury or illness, as well as those who may need assistance transitioning into later stages of life. POSITION OVERVIEW ERCC
is looking for a dependable and motivated Dietary Aide to join our dining services team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in food service, restaurants, healthcare dining, senior living, or hospitality who is looking for a stable, full-time position with strong benefits and consistent daytime hours. At ERCC, our dietary team does more than prepare and serve meals. They help create comfort, routine, and an enjoyable daily experience for the residents we serve. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work hands-on in the kitchen, prepare a variety of baked goods, and help provide residents with meals they can look forward to each day. The ideal candidate enjoys working with food, takes pride in preparing quality meals, works well as part of a team, and understands the importance of consistency, sanitation, and dependable service. Responsibilities In this role, you may: Prepare and serve food according to planned menus, standardized recipes, and portion guidelines Assist with food preparation for regular, modified, and therapeutic diets Ensure meals are prepared and served accurately and at scheduled times Support ERCC's restaurant-style dining experience Organize food preparation to keep meal service running smoothly Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control standards Perform cleaning and kitchen clean-up duties before, during, and after meal service Follow established cleaning schedules and sanitation checklists Safely operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment and supplies Communicate professionally and work collaboratively with dietary staff and other ERCC team members Follow written and verbal instructions, policies, recipes, and procedures Assist with other dietary duties as needed
Qualifications Preferred:
Experience working in restaurant-style dining, food service, healthcare dining, senior living, hospitality, or a similar environment Knowledge of special, modified, or therapeutic diets Previous kitchen, dietary aide, cook, or food preparation experience
Required:
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand instructions Ability to follow written recipes, menus, procedures, and verbal directions Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe food service environment Schedule This is a full-time position with a primary shift of 12:30 PM - 8:30 PM and every other weekend.
