Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Certified Dietary Manager to oversee the dietary department in our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing dietary services, ensuring that our resident's nutritional needs are met, and maintaining compliance with health regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of dietetics, physiology, and patient assessment to create effective care plans tailored to individual needs. Responsibilities Supervise the dietary department staff, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. Conduct patient assessments to evaluate nutritional needs and preferences. Develop and implement diagnostic evaluations to monitor patient progress and dietary effectiveness. Create personalized care plans that align with patients' health requirements and dietary restrictions. Manage food service operations, including meal preparation, presentation, and distribution. Maintain knowledge of current dietary guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance within the facility. Oversee budgeting for the dietary department, ensuring optimal use of resources while maintaining quality standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition into overall patient care strategies. Skills Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively. Proficient in resident assessment techniques and diagnostic evaluation methods. In-depth knowledge of physiology as it relates to nutrition and dietetics. Experience in developing care plans that address diverse dietary needs. Familiarity with budgeting processes and food ordering within a healthcare setting. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and staff members. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
