As a large Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) in Arizona, we are dedicated, to sustain and improve health by providing excellent, patient-centered primary care. As a Registered Dietitian (RD), you will ensure that patients' needs are met by providing appropriate, evidence-based, medical nutrition therapy. This role provides comprehensive nutrition assessments and high-priority nutrition counseling services to our patients according to federal guidelines, rules, and regulations.
Essential Functions:
Obtain dietary histories of patients, evaluate their nutritional needs, and provide appropriate medical nutrition therapy collaboratively. Create and deliver nutrition education programs for patients. Participate and complete clinical quality reviews as needed. Help patients understand the relationship between nutrition, food choices and their health condition and assist patients in making appropriate changes to their diet. Complete clinical notes in an accurate and timely manner. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as requested. Maintains regular and predictable attendance. Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Registered Dietitian (RD) certification issued by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Valid driver's license
Current CPR Certification Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in
