Job Summary We are seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full-time contract opportunity in Delano, CA. This role is ideal for a skilled Clinical Dietitian who is passionate about providing high-quality nutritional care to patients and residents with specialized needs or nutritional risk factors. The Registered Dietitian will work in a collaborative healthcare environment with interdisciplinary teams focused on patient-centered care, accurate assessment, education, and effective nutritional care planning. This opportunity offers a supportive clinical setting, consistent day shift schedule, and the chance to contribute meaningfully across the Kern County Network while working with experienced healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nutritional assessments and reassessments for patients and residents with special needs or nutritional risk criteria. Develop, implement, and document individualized nutritional plans of care in accordance with policy and accepted clinical practice standards. Educate patients and families on nutrition plans, dietary needs, and ongoing care recommendations. Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams to support coordinated patient outcomes. Use clinical judgment, technical expertise, and evidence-based practices to deliver safe and effective nutritional care. Float as needed throughout the Kern County Network to support patient care needs.
Compensation and Benefits Pay rate:
$60.00 per hour.
